Museum re-opens in Sebastian

The Sebastian Historical Society's museum re-opened its doors after being closed for two years after hurricane Frances and Jeanne.

The museum located next to the Sebastian Chamber of Commerce holds valuable historical memorabilia and offers a complete variety of exhibits.

The objective of the museum is to preserve important historical things of the area. But Maria Ponte says that the most interesting part is to enjoy the stories of volunteers who work in the museum.

"They are people who have lived in the area all their lives," said Ponte.
